For a week, Möhrendorf became an international hub for software testing standardisation: Working Group WG26 of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 met at imbus AG to work on the further development of key international standards for software testing.
Fifteen experts from 12 countries used the meeting to make progress on a total of eleven standardisation projects. The focus was on current and forward-looking topics such as the testing of complex systems, data migration testing and performance testing. In addition, the working group reviewed published standards, including Parts 1 to 4 of the ISO 29119 series.
The close collaboration proved to be extremely productive. Significant progress was made during numerous workshops and discussions, laying the foundations for further international standardisation work.
As well as the professional discussions, there was plenty of time for socialising. Guests from all over the world enjoyed the Franconian hospitality and took the opportunity to explore the area around Möhrendorf.
As a long-standing contributor to international software testing standards, imbus is delighted to have once again hosted the expert group, thereby helping to further develop globally recognised quality standards in software testing.
